Our Mission

It all started when…

a group of ecumenical Christians gathered in the Powhatan Courthouse for worship about 1900. From that early beginning the church family that later came to be called May Memorial has been on mission to Connect to God in Worship, to Connect to Each Other in Fellowship, and to Connect to our Community and World in life-changing missions.

Everything we do is rooted in God, Each Other, and the World as we seek to live as Christ’s Kingdom that has already come in our hearts and lives.
