An Evening of Worship
On May 17 at 6:00 p.m. we will have an evening of worship. Grace Notes, A three part ladies choir, will offer sacred music arranged by Lloyd Larson, Jane Holstein, and Joel Raney. Traditional favorites such as Great Is Thy Faithfulness as well as contemporary songs like The Potter's Hand. Grace Notes offers a one hour program which includes music, scripture and testimonies

Easter Sunday
Celebrate Easter with May Memorial on April 5. Sunday School will be at 9:45 a.m. Egg Hunt will be at 10:15 a.m. Worship will be at 11:00 a.m.
Easter Eve Service and Party
On the Eve of Easter, (Saturday, April 4) we will have a service and party celebrating the joy we experience because Christ is Alive! Make plans to join us that evening, worship begins at 6:00 p.m., and the party (with food from Annie Sparrow) will follow the service. Senior Adult Trivia Tournament – Tuesday at the Landmark Center at 10:00 a.m. Are you as smart as you were in the 7th grade? Join a team and arrive at answers to a wide variety of questions. Come, laugh, and have fun kicking up those brain cells. You'll be surprised at what you can remember.

Youth Fall Retreat
The youth will travel to Eagle Eyrie for the CBF Fall Retreat on Friday, November 14 and return on Sunday, November 16. Contact Carlisle at the church office soon if you have a youth who would like to register for the trip or if you have questions about times and more details.
Board Games and Lunch Together - Sr. Adults
The senior adults will gather on November 11 at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. to play board games. Please bring a lunch. The event will take place in the Fellowship Hall.
Deacon Ordination
Deacon Ordination – On November 9 during worship there will be a deacon ordination service as well as recognition for all who have served during the 2024-2025 church year.
Fall Festival
Calling all children and youth - Fall Festival will be on Friday, October 31st at Scottville from 5 to 7 pm. Dress up, hotdogs and more!
Sr. Adults Fall Choral Concert at Univ. of Richmond Trip
The senior adults will make a trip to University of Richmond to see the Fall Choral Concert. The time is 3 to 4:30 p.m. More details will be coming soon.
Youth Spooky Trip to Kings Dominion
The youth will make a trip to Kings Dominion for Halloween Haunt on October 19th after church. They will return between 9 and 10 pm. (There is no school for PCPS the next day.)
For the Beauty of the Earth
For the Beauty of the Earth – On Sunday, September 14 we will worship on the front lawn. You can come in your golf cart, bring a lawn chair, or sit in a chair provided. It will be a casual worship service in which we remember This Is Our Father’s World.
Rachael Circle Meeting
Rachael Circle Meeting
Calling all ladies! The Rachael Circle will begin on September 11. We will meet at 3 Crosses at 11:00 a.m.
If you would like to be involved in mission projects that benefit our church and community, come out and be a part of the Rachael Circle! We recently completed a back-to-school backpack project which benefitted many children here in our Powhatan schools. We work with the Christmas Mother, Hope House, the Free Clinic and other projects that come along.
We meet monthly on the second Thursday.

Wednesday Night Meals Return!
The return of Wednesday night meals and programs will be September 10! - On September 10 we will be having fried chicken, provided by the Sisters in Faith Class! On September 17 we will be having Breakfast for Dinner, provided by Ed Utt and the Men’s group. If you can help cooking on the 17th, please contact Ed Utt.
New Bible Study
A new Bible study based on the popular historical drama The Chosen will begin Wednesday, September 10. The study will be held at 10:00 a.m. and will be held in the Koinonia Sunday School Classroom.
Church Picnic
Sunday, August 24 May Memorial will have their annual church picnic with the Richmond Jazz Band. 5:30 p.m. on the front lawn. There will be food, bring sides and desserts.
